Behind the scenes of the furniture

The latest ADA updates to lock down production and free up design

In the furniture industry, the gap between a designer’s inspiration and the finished product is full of complex variables. The true digital challenge is not just adopting cutting-edge technologies, but relying on a partner capable of evolving the software in real time according to the customer’s needs.

At Arcadia, we believe that active listening is the engine of innovation. This is why the cloud-based ADA ecosystem is continuously updated, uniting the factory, store, and product through concrete solutions:

  1. FACTORY • Automation and intelligent logistics 4.0
  • Predictive catalog logistics: We have integrated the system with the automatic reading and import of certain fields from management systems, allowing the software to instantly recognize whether an item generates a package or not, optimizing packaging and shipping strategies directly during the quote phase.
  • Secure post-processors for security: For pure production, we have refined the post-processor for CNC machines. The systems can automatically exclude insertions for pieces outside the machine’s limits. A micro-technical constraint that translates into a macro-benefit: total protection of machinery from misalignment and continuity of the production cycle without unexpected stops.
  1. STORE • Zero errors in the showroom
  • Structural locks on “Disassembled” and automatic warning systems: To ensure maximum stability of furniture delivered disassembled, ADA Designer introduces specific automatic checks. If the retailer attempts to insert non-compliant shelf supports into disassembled cabinets, ADA Designer triggers an immediate on-screen alert. Through this “Quick Design” technology, retailers can design in just a few clicks with the mathematical certainty that what they draw in the showroom is exactly what the factory will produce, eliminating disputes and returns.
  1. PRODUCT • Flexible product data and freedom to “customize”
  • Unlimited product data: We have enhanced the management of item descriptions, overcoming the 60-character limit. This allows manufacturers to upload product data, custom finishes, and variants to the catalog without having to shorten or encode information in cryptic ways.

Continuing evolution alongside our customers

These updates aren’t developed in a lab, but are the direct result of ongoing dialogue with the companies that use ADA every day. Responding with timely and targeted changes is our signature: we transform complex industrial flows into seamless digital solutions, ready to support the growth of top furniture brands.
